Tanactive H Brand Dyes

Tanactive H Brand Dyes

We bring forth for our clients, tanactive H brand dyes (mononchlorotriazine) that are used for fixation of cellulosic material by both dyeing as well as printing methods. These Tanactive H brand dyes are low in reactivity and substantivity, and thus require more severe conditions for fixation. For achieving optimum fixation, these dyes require either a long steaming time or a high thermo-fixation temperature (with urea). These dyes are readily soluble when water of 80oC -85oC temperature is poured over the powder and stirred well. Our tanactive H brand dyes produce tailing if low concentration of substantivity is there. It can be avoided by using small padding troughs fed to constant level and operating at the highest running speed.

Tanactive M Brand Dyes

Tanactive M Brand Dyes

We are offering our clients with tanactive M brand dyes (dichlorotriazline) are used in cellulosic textiles by batch - wise, semi-continuous and continuous methods. Our M brand dyes are also applicable in conventional textile machinery like open-vat, package, jet, jig, winch and padding mangle. These highly reactive dyes are available in a wide range of bright and fast shades.

The Tanactive ‘M’ brand reactive dyes offered by us require mild conditions for dye fixation and are used at normal room temperature (about 25 - 35 Deg. C) using soda ash or sodium bicarbonate.

The general usage precautions of our 'M' brand dyes are as follows:

  • Storage of dyestuffs should be in cool and dry conditions
  • Storage containers should be tightly closed when not in use
  • Dyes in solution should not be in contact with high temperature, humidity, and alkaline pH conditions to maintain their stability
  • Softened water should be used for its solution and alkalinity should be avoided especially while dissolving the dyes (hard water should be softened with sequestering agents)
  • In dyeing, the pH of the water supply should be within the limits pH - 7-8

Tanactive HE Brand Dyes

Tanactive HE Brand Dyes

Tanactive HE brand dyes are suitable for dyeing cotton and other cellulosic materials. These industrial reactive dyes possess significantly higher exhaustion and fixation efficiency, which results in appreciable cost reduction, in comparison to conventional reactive dyes. The high fixation and good build up are of particular importance when dyeing polyester/cellulosic blends and wash liquor : goods ratio is quite high. Due to higher fixation of HE dyes, the drained and wash liquors after dyeing contain much less quantity of unfixed dyes, in comparison to conventional reactive dyes, which is of interest when pollution control is a major concern to everybody. This facilities quicker wash off and efficient soaping. The improved stability of HE dyes gives improved batch to batch consistency. Exhaustion of HE dyes can be controlled by salt addition and temperature to give level dyeing before alkali addition.

The other useful features of HE dyes are as under:

  • Excellent build-up in high as low liquor: Goods ratios.
  • The high fixation is of particular importance when dyeing polyester/ cellulose blend when liquor/goods ratio is quite high. Under the circumstances, conventional reactive dyes show low dyeing efficiency and poor build-up.
  • Excellent reproducibility.
  • Wide applicability on yarn, piece material, loose stock and garments.
  • Wide choice of equipment to suit particular application.

Tanactive VS Brand Dyes

Tanactive VS Brand Dyes

Tanactive VS brand dyes are reactive dyes possessing Vinyl sulphone as the reactive group. In presence of alkali, these dyes chemically react with the hydroxyl group of cellulose and form firm, convalent linkages. These reactive dyes are versatile enough to suit different dyeing methods. Results are excellent and shades come clean and brilliant with no variation in dyeing as well as in printing.

VS dyestuff posses poor affinity for cellulosic fibres in absence of salt and alkalis. For this reasons, they are suitable for use on pad. Their substantivity can be increased by addition of glauber's salt or common salt and alkali, making the dyestuff suitable on all conventional dyeing machines for loose material, yarn in hanks and packages and piece goods. The dyeing methods may therefore, be classified under the padding and exhaust processes, standing baths are not recommended, as in alkaline medium inactivation of the dyestuffs by reaction with water takes place as a side reaction.

The main features of VS dyes are:

  • Process excellent brightness and good wet fastness.
  • They are dischargeable.
  • They are suitable for exhaust & different pad dyeing methods and discharge printing.
  • Ease of washing off unfixed dyestuffs i.e. minimum staining of the white grounds in printing.
  • They are applicable at 40oC and 60oC

Tanactive ME Brand Dyes

Tanactive ME Brand Dyes hot

Tanactive ME brand dyes are mixed bifunctional reactive dyes where vinyl sulfone group is linked to chromophore through a mono chloro triazine group as a bridge link. They are applicable on cellulosic material at lower dyeing temperature 60oC. The main features of these 'bifunctional' dyes are as under:

  • The dye-fibre bond between Vinylsulfone group and cellulose is stable to acid hydrolysis, so that stability of dyed goods in industrial acidic atmosphere is very good with the time lapse.
  • The dyes which are not fixed during the dyeing process can be washed off easily because the hydrolyzed dye has low substantivity and thus there is a little risk of staining of adjacent whites.
  • Excellent leveling properties.
  • Better reproducibility in dyeing.
  • High exhaustion and high fixation efficiency.
  • Good all round fastness properties.

Bi-functional dyes are applicable on cellulose materials by dyeing as well as printing methods.
